Our Story
September of 2022 saw the world change in profound ways: the egress of pandemic lockdown measures; the death of Elizabeth II; She-Hulk; all but flickers of shadow in the illumination that began in a tiny chat room filled with banana jokes and Twitch slang. On a lowly Discord server, far from the light of the searing Phoenix day, a rag-tag group of comedy adventurers set out to create and explore a new world through the auspices of imagination. Fresh off the success of our sold out inaugural season, we invite you to join us in building the persistent multi-media world of Patent Pending Productions, composed of characters that exist on stage, screen, and in our hearts and minds.
Our Mission
At Patent Pending Productions, our mission is to enrich and cultivate a sense of community through writing, producing, performing and giving opportunities. Performance mediums include, but are not limited to sketch comedy, improv, stand-up, musical, film. We focus on spreading comedy in a unique and inclusive way across generations, diverse individuals and creatives, and beyond traditional performance spaces. We recognize that comedy can serve as a powerful tool for healing and promoting well-being. We actively promote a positive and supportive environment for comedians and audience members alike. We strive to leave a positive lasting impact, and create a world where comedy becomes a catalyst for positive change.
